QUEEN’S PARK
PERIOD HOME NW6
We were hired to design and renovated the four-bedroom period townhouse in Queen’s Park. The brief was to bring a layer of modernity while keeping the period features of the house. We collaborated with Architect’s practice Kirkham Sheidow for the construction of the rear kitchen extension. The team delivered a full interior architecture and design package for the living areas, the master bedroom and two children bedrooms.
Light was maximised throughout the property with large Crittall windows. The colour palette was kept neutral and subdued to allow for stronger bursts of colours in the living room such as the rose velvet chaise and the purple arm chair. Bespoke items such as the dining table made from construction planks, which sits against the exposed brick wall add character to the minimalist scheme. Artwork was commissioned for the living room by a local artist Kiran Aswani.
